Maddi's feast at South Olive Preschool

We know that Thanksgiving has come and past, but with the tragic accident that took Pastor Voorhees life, out of respect to him and his family, the South Olive Christian School rescheduled their Thanksgiving feast from last Tuesday until today, Tuesday December 2nd. The kids in the upper grades sang songs and then they were treated to a special feast of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, etc. Our little preschoolers were dressed in their indian costumes that they made in class with Mrs. Veldheer. She is such a blessing to these little ones. I know that she was on Maddi's most thankful for list!!! Each preschooler got to choose one "special" person to attend the feast with them and I was lucky to be choosen to be Maddi's. We had a great time. Maddi was even very glad that she actually wore her vest and head band! We had some issues with dressing up and she did not want to be an indian, but she had a change of heart and I was thankful that she did because she was just too cute!
